OK guys, welcome to the 1Chief Kodi Build Review by our very good friend The Chief.
You can find the build in the community build section of the Wookie Wizard and I will include full details of how to install it on your device at the end of the blog.
This build is ONLY for those of you that have made the switch over to Kodi version Jarvis 16.0. I have only recently made the switch myself after a few attempts of using it and finding it not as stable as the reliable Isengard 15.2. However, fingers crossed, me and Jarvis seem to be getting on fine now and I am really enjoying it.
So, back to the build and what a pleasingly simple build it is and I mean that in the most positive way possible. There are so many builds out there now that over complicate things with bells, whistles and indeed many Add-ons that we will never need. This can clog up our systems and even make certain builds too large to suit many different devices.
The current trend in “quality” Kodi builds right now is for simplicity, functionality and clarity. I have to say Mr Chief, you have got this one spot on.
I installed the build onto my T8-V3S in a matter of minutes and found myself browsing through its sections without a glitch right away. I even had to pause for a while to watch a few things, but that’s just the geek in me.
In this build, The Chief has treated us to a portion of my current favourite skin – MIMIC.
Just SEVEN main menu items here making it easy to find what you want.
The build kicks out with an aptly named HOME section where you can find some tools pertaining to the upkeep and housekeeping of your system. You can view and install Add-ons and access the many great features on the Community Portal Maintenance Tool.
MOVIE-ZONE is next
In here you find simple links to 11 great movie Add-ons giving you options for all your favourites and the latest releases. Check out Bestforkodi.com for reviews on these Add-ons if you are not already familiar with them.
A section for TV-BOXSETS is next.
14 Add-ons in here to choose from all giving you access to hours of entertainment. A point to note in this section and the MOVIE-ZONE section is the use of the 1Channel/PrimeWire Add-on. This is a fully functional version, many builds I have looked at have not included this, leaving you to tweak the Add-on yourself to get the best out of it. Not the case here, Thank you Chief.
