Best IPTV Kodi Addons
Sports and TV.
IPTV stands for Internet Protocol Television.
Basically this is a system of delivering Television services via the Internet as opposed to terrestrial, satellite or cable formats.
IPTV services can be classified into three main groups:
1: Live television: with or without interactivity related to the current TV show.
2: Time-shifted television: Basically, catch up TV or replays of shows just broadcast.
2: Video on demand (VOD): browse a catalog of videos or shows that are not related to TV programming.
For the purpose of this blog and rating, we will concentrate on the first category in the list above, Live TV.
That means I am testing Live TV Channels, NOTHING pre-recorded and no specific links to Live Events.
The are some great Addons that provide us with superb links direct to live events such as Football etc. That is NOT what I am looking at here.
That means fantastic in their own right Addons such as Robocop and NJM Soccer etc are not included in this review.
There are a numerous add-ons out there offering us this IPTV service. We should be grateful for the work that goes into keeping the links and feeds up to date.
So, for the purpose of this review I selected approximately 20 current add-ons and have cut them down to a top three in the category of Sport and Live TV.
The criteria I used for the review process, is of course, largely based on my opinions but this is what I considered.
The set up I am using is a T8-AML- V3S box, connected to 150mbps Virgin Media Internet via Ethernet.
For Sport IPTV Addons I will test 5 Randon Premium Sports Channels, where possible the same ones on each addon.
For Live TV IPTV Addons I will test 6 channels, BBC1, ITV 1, Channel 4, and 3 Random choices, again where possbile the same on each addon.
I will also consider the following items:
Layout of menus
Quality of picture
Buffering (measured in 1st 10 minutes of connection)
Stability of Channel (was it still as good over a 3 day period).
OK guys here’s the results, in no particular order, remember this is only a review over a few days and I cannot include all of the add-ons out there, and as always, these services come and go.
SPORT IPTV Addons
Project Cypher TV.
OK, not a huge selection of channels in here but they are superb quality and very reliable. Sometimes big is not always beautiful!
You will find all you need as far as premium uk sports channels in here and I recommend you give it a try if you haven’t already.

A few places in here where you can find your IPTV Sports channels. This again, just recently has been a very reliable source for those premium channels and long may it continue.
During my tests it out performed many other more well known addons.

A very popular addon that has gone from strength to strength recently. It now, quite rightly, just like UK Turk had its own Main Menu section within the Wookie Build. Again a fantastic place to find all your premium sports channels being provided in great quality for your enjoyment. Click here for a guide on how to install the MoneySports addon
LIVE TV IPTV Addons
UK Turks. English TV Section.
This really is a great section within one of my all time favourite addons.
The Live TV channels as tested were superb and by far the best quality.
The HD quality in some of these is for real and far better than others quoting the same service.

Not Film On. TV
As far as choice is concerned you won’t go far wrong here. The lists are endless and I have to say I struggled to find many that were not working.
OK, not always the best quality is on offer here but it is a VERY stable and reliable source for all your favourite channels.
Renegades TV Guide
OK, so Renegades is not really an addon in its own right but as far as viewing IPTV Live TV it is awesome. It wills scrape a number of IPTV add-onss affiliated with it to give you a HUGE selection of channels. This means with Renegades you can pick and chose the best feeds from a suite of addons giving you the best one for each channel.
Take a look at the great blog and installation guide on Renegades by clicking here.
You can always add feeds to channels for alternative addons by simply adding them to your favourites and choosing them from there.
So in summary my recommendation as far as IPTV is concerned is to install the addons you require to give you all the channels you want.
Then get yourself into Renegades TV and set it up exactly how you want it. That’s what I have done now and I love it ! I have even set up some links within Rengades TV for my “paid” addons. This makes accessing all your favourite channels simpler for all the family to use!
Once done your set up can even be transferred to other boxes or set ups.
The choice of IPTV channels and providers out there takes us closer to cutting the cord and either drastically reducing or even eradicating those cable or satellite providers.
If you have any other IPTV’s you think I have missed. Get in touch on Twitter.
