How to Install and Set-up Trakt on Kodi 17 Krypton.

Hello BFKers.

I am here today to show you how to Install and set-up Trakt on your Kodi 17 Krypton.

Ok What is Trakt?

Well basiclly in a nut shell it KEEPS an eye on what TV series you have watched so you can carry on from where you left off.

Lets get going, So we have open Kodi 17 Krypton.

Click on Add-ons

How to Install and Set-up Trakt on Kodi 17 Krypton

Then the browser icon in the top left hand corner.

Then Install from Repository.

Find the Repository Kodi Add-on Repository.

Then Click on it.

Go to Programs Add-ons.

Click on that.

Then click on Trakt.

Now click on Install in the bottom right hand corner.

You will then be presented with the version click on the latest.

Version 3.1.9.

Then once you have clicked on that.you will see that Trakt add-on enabled Top right and a Tick to the left of trakts to tell you it has installed.

So now we have to go into the sub menu of Trakt by highlighting it – Left click with mouse or Menu on a remote.

Then Highlight General, The Click on How do i Authorize……………

Then you will be given a code Keep the code because we need to enter it in the next steps.

So when you have your Trakt code you need to head over to HERE

That will take you to the Activate site.

So now we need to enter the code that we received early in this tutorial.

Then click continue.

The click on Yes.

And Woohoo you have now registered a Trakt account.

So Then next step is how do i use it in an Add-on.

Well you have to More or less go through the same principle for it to work in your add-ons.

And you have to do this for every Add-on you wish to use it for.

So heres a Little example on how to get it to work through S.A.L.T.S.

If we go to our Addons and Highlight S.A.L.T.S then right click with mouse OR Menu button on the remote we will get the sub-menu up for S.A.L.T.S.

Once you see that click on Settings.

Then Highlight Trakt tv on the left and then click on How do i Aurthorize……….

And again you will be give a code.

And you have an expiry second count also so if it elapses you will have to go through the last 3 steps again.

Take note of the code.

Then head over to HERE

Again enter the code when prompted.

Then Continue.

And again click Yes.

And you will notice that this one is Allowing S.A.L.T.S to use your Trakt account.

And again we get another WooHoo.
