Inside Evolve Kodi Addon Great Developers Kraken. Welcome back to the third part of my look at the inside of the evolve add-on. For this blog I’m looking at one of the Kraken section in the Evolve add-on.

First we need to load on the add-on, you can find the install guide on the following blog click here to go to the guide.
So first of all lets have a look at what you are greeted with when you go in to Krakens section.
As you can see there is plenty of parts to sink your teeth in to . Below I’ll cover each section in turn.
But first Kraken has a disclaimer. If you click on his twitter feed icon you get presented with the following.
So no we will cover the first section, UFC section.
UFC.
For you UFC fans here’s a nice section just for you. As you can see this section has been split in to 10 different sections. these will be looked in to below.
UFC Replays.
If you’ve missed any of the latest ufc bouts then this section will get you up to date. The Big name bouts are in here as you can see there is aldo vs mcgregor and bisping vs henderson.
Looking for a fight.
When you click on the dan white icon you will be presented with a dialog box with a list of episodes.Choose a link and then wait for the stream to load.
As you can see from the screenshot the quality is very good.
Documentaries.
There is 18 different documentaries in this section. From ultimate knockouts to documentaries looking at different ufc stars such as rhonda rousey and rorion gracie, there is plenty to keep you ufc fans occupied.
Top Ten.
This is a collection of the best tops. Whether it be the top ten knockouts, top ten bloodiest fights, the top ten ufc fighters. Everything is covered in this section.
Colin Mcgregor.
Just for the colin mcgregor fans. This section has different fights from colin and documentaries about colin from both inside and outside the ring.
Embedded.
In the lead up to bouts a vlog has been put together. It includes interviews and the weigh ins..
Utimate insider.
These are an inside look at the ufc bouts, fighters and interviews.There are different shows included such as counter punch, warrior code, and full blast.
Test.
These are test links with a ufc theme.
IPTV Music.
Here is a list of music channels from around the world. There is 107 different channels to listen to.
Hoops Menu.
This is a section just for the basketball fans out there. As you can see it has been split in to 8 different sections, these will be covered below.
NBA Live.
Click on this link and it brings up two streams just pick a stream to watch a game.
Espn Live.
Again this brings up two links for streams.
Pac12.
This section has links to lots of different pac12 streams for different areas around USA.Below is some screen shots of the different channels.

For those that like a movies about basketball then look no further. There are some great movies in here. Coach carter and white man can’t jump are my favorites from this small list.
Team Videos.
These are videos about different basketball teams. There is the la lakers 2010 championship, the chicago bulls 1998 championship and even boston celtics sweet sixteen in 1985-1986 is on the list.
Player Videos.
As with the team videos, kraken has put together a list of player videos. Apart from the list on the screenshot above there are other players such as Magic Johnson, Shaquille o’neil and reggie miller. There are 36 great players to pick through.
Highlights Reel.
There are 44 different sections in here. From the best slam dunk contests of all time, the top 50 in game dunks, the best 50 three pointers to Dwayne wade’s top hundred blocks or kobe bryants top 100 one on one plays there is plenty covered in here for you basketball fans out there.
Dunk Contests.
This section covers all the slam dunk contests from 1986 – 2016. Here’s a little explanation of what the contest is, The NBA Slam Dunk Contest (officially known as the Verizon Slam Dunk for sponsorship reasons) is an annual National Basketball Association (NBA) competition held during the NBA All-Star Weekend. The contest was inaugurated by the American Basketball Association (ABA) at its All-Star Game in 1976 in Denver, the same year the slam dunk was legalized in the NCAA. As a result of the ABA–NBA merger later that year there would not be another slam dunk contest at the professional level until 1984. The contest has adopted several formats over the years, including, until 2014, the use of fan voting, via text-messaging, to determine the winner of the final round. Winners include players such as Michael jordon, Kobe bryant, Nate Robinson and Zach LaVine.
So that completes our look at the hoops section. Lets move on to the next section In The Hood.

There is 6 different sections in here all will be covered below..
Movies.
At present this section is under construction .
Stand up.
There are some great comedian’s in this section. There are a few from chris rock and eddie murphy, including my favorites raw and delirious. You cant have a stand up section from the hood without having shows from the great richard prior.
Radio.
There are 14 different radio stations in this section. Different styles are covered from classic rap and old school right through to international rap.
Documentaries.
There is a mix of different rappers covered in this section. Rapper’s such as Tupac, Jay-z, Dr Dre and snoop doggy dog and all in httie 20 videos in this section.
Real Hood Documentaries.
This is a section has streams on different gangs from across america. There are documentaries about gangs in los angles and chicago, gangs from the east coast and even one on girls in gangs.
Music Videos.
This is a list of different music videos. Most of them are rap songs, there are streams from dr dre, 2pac, N.W.A, eminem and eazy-e. You can play them all at once. Click on the first video and bring up the context menu and click on play from here, as can be seen from the screenshot below.
That’s the Hoods section covered. Lets have a look at the Rock Menu section.
Rock Menu.
This section has been split on to 20 different section I will cover all below.
Rock Radio
As the title suggests this is a list of 17 different rock radio stations from around the world. Karrang is on the list as is qmr rock and rock fever. So there is plenty for the rockers to listen to.
Rock Docs.
In this section there are 46 different documentaries. There is a stream about the metal music from 1980-1989, There are documentaries on bands such as the rolling stones, iron maiden, Korn and the doors, So if you like to watch about different bands then this is your place.
Rock Festivals.
There are plenty of different bands covered in this section. Bands such as linkin park, motorhead, slipknot, guns and roses and the doors can be found i here. Also in here are a few full festivals such as download and sonisphere.
Download Festival.
This section covers the download festival from 2016. There are 2 highlights sections covering all 3 days and then ones that cover each day individually
The rest of the Sections in this section are based on individual bands.
Five Finger Death Punch.
Here we find streams all about five fingered death punch. There is concerts such as knotfest and yahoo live nation, and concerts in different countries such as australia and finland. Also in here you will find individual songs such as bad company and my nemesis.
Avenged SevenFold.
Avenged sevenfold are thre band covered in this section. With live eventss such as red bull sound space and rock am in 2011 and 2014, also in the live section are when the band played at cities such as bangkok and madrid. As with the previous section there are music videos such as seize the day and beast and the harlot.
Alterbridge
Again this section is split in to different sections, Live music and music videos. Alterbridge where live at pinkpop and rock am ring and also in cities such as london and dusseldorf. Videos from the band on here inlcude metalingus and blackbird.
Avatar.
Avatar is the next band to be covered. Live events such as wacken open air and feathers and flesh, and music videos such as for the swarm and bloody angel are in this section.
Breaking Benjamin.
Breaking Benjamin are the next band that are featured. The live events include rock on the range, unplugged and pointfest. The Videos include blow me away, failure and sooner or later.
Disturbed.
The Live events feature Disturbed at deep rock drive and rock am ring, and in cities such as Chicago and Dusseldorf. The videos include songs such as stupify and the animal.
Iron Maiden.
You cannot have a rock section and not include iron maiden. And in the live events there are a mixture of videos from some oldies, such as ones from hammersmith appolo in 1986 and rock in rio in 1985. to streams from envivo in 2011 and rock am ring in 2014. Also featured are music videos such as lord of the flies and 2minutes to midnight.
Korn.
Next up on the list is Korn. This band is a modern day great band and Have appeared at some of the following live events, rock rio, family fest and rock am ring in 2006,2007,2009 and 2013.They have also played at the Apollo in London, at Woodstock in 1999. The music videos include songs such as clown, did my time and make me bad.
Limp Bizkit.
I love this list. Limp Bizkit is my favorite band in this section. The live section covers when limp bizkit starred at festivals such as the reading festival, hellfest, and monster of rock. Limp bizkit also played at cities such as shanghai, London and Moscow. The music videos feature songs such as rollin, nookie, the truth and eat you alive.
Marilyn Manson.
Marilyn Manson is the subject of this section. I the live section there are streams from concerts from cities such as sydney, vienna and los angeles. Also in this section are concerts such as rock in rio and rock on the range. In the music videos section therre are songs such as Tainted love, man that you fear and personal jesus.
SlipKnot.
Slipknot is the feature of this section. The live events secrtion has streams from concerts such as knotfest, rock on the range, DTE energy music theatre, and the download festival. The music videos has great songs such as psychosocial, scissors, the devil and i and the negative one.
System of the Down.
The live section in here has streams from rock in rio, rock am ring, pinkpop and fuji rock. Music videos from sysyem of a down, include hits such as toxicity, spiders and aerials.
This is the last band covered in this section the rest are stations and are covered below.
MTV Rocks.
Click on this link and it brings up a dialog box with stream links , at present these are down.
ESKA Rock.
Click on this link and it brings up a dialog box with stream links , at present these are down.
Rock One.
If you click on the icon it takes you directly to the stream.
Heavy Metal TV.
Click on the icon brings up a dialog box with links to streams. Click on any of the links and it brings up a stream as seen below..
So that concludes our look at the rock section, Now we move on to the makina section.
Makina.
The Next section on the list is the Makina section. But what is makina, here’s a little explanation, Mákina is a sub-genre of hardcore techno, originating in Spain. Similar to UK hardcore, it includes elements of bouncy techno and hard-trance. The tempo ranges from 150 to 180 BPM.
Krakens Top Ten.
This section has the top ten songs that Kraken has chosen. The list includes songs such as harmonycs by dj juan cruz and dyewitness by masterplan. If you want to play the list all together you need to bring up the context menu and then select play from here.
Singles.
There are 67 different songs in this section. Included are songs such as out of Europe by attica, now we are famous by gladiators and stall by apology.
In The Mix.
If you like the songs from the other sections then there are different mixes available in this section. There are sections from the north east of England and Scotland, general makina mixes and mixes from helter skelter and sanctuary.
The MC’s.
These are lists from different years and include mc’s such as mc stompin and techno t.
World Radio.
As the title of this section suggests this is a list of Radio stations from around the world. There are radio stations covering different subjects such as Christmas, blues, country alternative music, There are 185 different stations from different countries.
Moments in history.
This is the last section in Krakens list. In here there are 14 different lists covering subjects such as world wars 1 & 2, the final hours of JFK, the story of the titanic the unsinkable giant that sunk, there is plenty to go through in here.
As you can see this is a big section in the Evolve add-on, kraken has put a lot of work in to this section and is updating and increasing the content regularly , and as you can see from this blog, he caters for everyone.
