Install BBC iPlayer Video Addon on Kodi
iPlayer has had an Update Jan 27th to fix some issues.

BBC iPlayer is an internet streaming catchup television and radio service for people in the United Kingdom. The service is available on a wide range of devices, including mobile phones and tablets, personal computers, and smart televisions. Neither the iPlayer services nor the individual TV programmes display any commercial advertising. The terms BBC iPlayer, iPlayer, and BBC Media Player all refer to the same services.
The Kodi addon is no different and works very well and definitely worth adding to your Kodi build.
Very easy to install as its in the Kodi Official Repo so just follow the simple steps below
- Click Settings
- Click Addons
- Click Get Addons
- Scroll down and select KODIAddon RepositoryÂ
- Click on Video Addons
- Then select BBC iPlayer video addon
- Wait for Add-on enabled notification
This add-on has lots of content including films so never miss your favorite bbc programs ever again.
If you are based outside the UK in maybe worth trying a vpn on the add-on to gain access to the add-on. The BBC are clamping down on the use of vpn as i wrote about in the blog HERE
