Hi Guys. The Retouched Skin for Touch Screen Devices. A lot of people are using Tablets and Phones for Kodi and retouched is a great skin to use for touch screen devices.
I personally have Kodi on my Shield tablet. Retouched comes from a fresh install of Kodi so it should already be on your device. Today we’ll show you how to set it up.
Go to system.
Then to Settings.
Then Appearance.
Then to Skin.
Select Retouched.
This is the stock home screen for Retouched. Along the side are 4 Tabs Videos, Music, Pictures and Programs. On the bottom are 4 tabs as well Power, Settings, Volume and Favourites.
Nobody said it was pretty. However, it will be functional so that’s a plus.
Click the settings tab. The second tab on the bottom.
Now you’ll see this screen the main tabs are self-explanatory. The lower tabs from left to right are Profile, add-ons, view (changes layout) info, back button and favourites button.
Click Appearance.
Then Settings.
Then select add-ons.
Then click add-on shortcut. Select 12 Add-ons you want quick access to on home screen.
Repeat until you have all 12.
In my case it looks like this.
Now select back button till you get to main screen.
Looks the same right? Click add-ons tab in the right corner.
Voila now you have quick access to your most used add-ons. Still pretty Blah.
Go to settings ( The gear looking thingymabobber whatchamacallit 🙂 ).
Select appearance.
Then Settings.
Select use custom background.
Select background. Navigate to where your pictures are kept. In my case it is:
C: Acer.
Users, Jamie, Desktop, Kodi Stuff, Apocalyptic and select.
The Home screen now!
If you want to hide the add-ons just click add-ons again.
That’s it for now. Have and play around.
