The package comes well protected and professionally boxed.

As we have noted in the past with some (but certainly not all) Rii products, the documentation / manual could be far better and more informative.

No leads or wires as the name suggests but you will need a couple of AA batteries, one for each of the keyboard and mouse. I was a bit surprised by this when everything nowadays seems to be re-chargeable lithium battery powered.

The dongle is neatly stored in the battery compartment of the mouse. Nice and tidy idea but to be honest it did take me a while to find it !

The keyboard itself offers all your favourite keys with some neat colour coding on the common gaming directional keys which is nice.

The additional menu bar of keys above the function keys offer some cool shortcuts. Really helpful for Android users.

I tested these while using the keyboard on my T8-V3 and the majority worked fine. Particularly useful is the home key and volume keys.

The keys themselves are laser printed to avoid wear and abrasion as well as apparently being waterproof. I did not test this feature but if I spill my tea on the keyboard while writing this I will let you know.

The keyboard and mouse have a 10 metre range and without a tape measure they worked fine from one end of my room to the next.

The mouse is smooth and comfortable for both left and right hand use.

I have to admit, I’m more of a trackpad kind of person really and I didn’t realise until testing this on my T8 that you can scroll through the main menu and sub menu items on your favourite build using the mouse wheel. This may convert me to using a mouse more often again?

The scroll wheel does the job and as with many mice today it has as DPI button to switch sensitivity between 800-1200 and 1600 DPI. You are more likely to notice this if using the mouse for gaming applications.

Rii 2.4G Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo Review

Overall the 2.4G Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo is a nice piece of kit and it does what is says in the tin. The keyboard is a bit larger than most but this does make it comfortable to use.
